Come on, come on, come on, it's time to get out your sneakers (and your good deeds) for a sporty and charitable day that's full of ecological commitment and post-race stretches.

AGENDA

Come on, come on, come on, it's time to get out your sneakers (and your good deeds) for a sporty and charitable day that's full of eco-friendly commitment and post-race stretching. It's happening in Draveil, on the Ile de Loisirs - Le Port aux Cerises, on Sunday, May 18, starting at 8:15 a.m. – the time when even the birds hesitate to sing. đŸ•Šïž

Looking for an excuse to throw on your orphaned fitness gear and eat a plate of pasta the night before "because you have to fuel up"? Here you go: the 5th annual Run for Planet is here for you. And you know what? It's much more than just a race: it's a declaration of love for the planet, delivered through sweat and laughter.

Why get up on a Sunday morning (yes, we know, it's hard)?

Not only will you be able to burn off the calories from last night's raclette (no judgment), but you'll also be doing your bit for the environment. It's a double win! With two courses to choose from, we've thought of everyone:

  • The 5 km run or walk, untimed (Perfect for admiring the scenery while pretending you're speeding up).

  • The 10 km timed race (For true competitors and those who want to impress everyone on Instagram).

  • And that's not all: this day is also packed with activities for young and old. Because here, we combine effort and comfort, always with a smile!

D-Day Program: Minute by Minute (or Almost)

  • 8:15 a.m.: Is your alarm ringing? Let's open the village (and maybe a peek).

  • 9 a.m.: Group warm-up for the brave 5K runners. Yes, even warm-ups are fun here.

  • 9:20 a.m.: Start of the 5 km, we jog or walk elegantly (leave your organic palm leaf in your bag, it's bulky).

  • 10 a.m.: Podium presentation for the 5 km stars – applause guaranteed! 🎉

  • 10:10 a.m.: Muscle awakening for 10 km warriors (or a moment of mild panic for some).

  • 10:30 a.m.: The 10 km timed race begins – it's time for glory or sweaty selfies.

  • 11:40 a.m.: Podium presentations for the 10km champions. Recognition is no joke!

  • 11:30 a.m.: Group stretching to avoid the "help, where's my physiotherapist" tomorrow morning.

The icing on the cake (or raisins on the oats, if you're staying healthy), a village of entertainment awaits you with:

  • Post-race refreshments (because running makes you hungry).

  • A catering area (for those who are there more for the food than the effort, and we understand why).

  • Music, to run to the rhythm and dance afterwards.

  • A medical service (because we are not warriors without a safety net).

  • Why participate? Because you're awesome. That's it. 👏

Well, perhaps also because this race aims to raise awareness among the general public and businesses about ecological, ethical, and social issues. So you combine:

Pleasure, well-being, and a good deed for the planet.

Honestly, between a lie-in and a chance to save the world a little, the choice is easy... Right? 😏
